Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

Tasks
The Editorial Board, or (Editorial) Advisory Board, is a team of experts in the journal's field. Aside from providing prestige, the role of the editorial board is to advise and support the editor. The Editorial Board should assist in a variety of aspects of running the journal. Their responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
• Providing scientific expertise for the journal.
• Administering peer review or serving as a peer reviewer.
• Identify appropriate conferences for editors to attend.
• Providing feedback and suggesting improvements for the journal (Advise on journal policy and scope).
• Identify topics for special issues, which they may guest edit.
• Suggesting topics and authors for commissioned reviews and commentaries.
• Attract new authors and submissions or even Submitting articles especially Provide content by writing occasional editorials and other short articles.
• Endorse the journal to authors, readers and subscribers and encourage colleagues to submit their best work.
• Assist the editor(s) in decision making over issues such as plagiarism claims and submissions where reviewers can’t agree on a decision.
