The journal is Open Access and has no sponsor; authors are asked to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) for their article to be published with open access under a Creative Commons license. The payment method is via PayPal.

International Authors:
A) Publication Fee: the publication fee will be charged conditionally:

A-1: For Low/Middle-Income Countries, USD 550 (+ $ 50 for PayPal’s money transfer).
A-2: For High-Income Countries, USD 1650 (+ $ 50 for PayPal’s money transfer).

 

 
B) English Native Edit: to help non-English speaker writers, the manuscript doesn’t reject due to “English Native” problems. Still, the journal office performs Native English Edits after final acceptance by trusted editors with no extra charges.
C) Rapid Review Process: The payment for rapid review has been removed, but the journal guarantees that all submissions will be reviewed in 8 weeks with no extra charges.
D) Quick Release: This charge is removed too, and the journal will publish every accepted article in three working weeks with no extra charges as In Press/Online First articles.
E) “Cancellation Fee” for retracting the manuscript from the review process; the authors have to pay $ 2000 for the penalty.

 

 

The journal of the Annals of Applied Sport Science decided to offer a 650 USD discount on all articles from High-Income Countries submitted to the journal from December 22, 2023, until March 20, 2024, due to the Christmas arrival.
In this offer, if the manuscript is accepted after the review process, each author should pay $ 1050 instead of $ 1700.
