The Annals of Applied Sport Science (Ann. Appl. Sport Sci.), an "Open Access" journal, follows a rigorous peer-review process for submitting all articles in the sports sciences.
The journal publishes original and review articles, editorials, and short communications.
The journal is published quarterly in electronic editions.
All research articles and review papers have undergone rigorous peer review based on initial editor screening and anonymized (double-blind) refereeing by three reviewers (a statistical and two scientific reviewers).
All manuscripts submitted by non-English speakers should be edited by a native English-speaking person before submission and even after corrections.
PUBLICATION FEE
Besides, it is noticed that:
- The journal has no article submission charges.
- Authors' ability to pay publication fees will never be considered when deciding whether to publish.
IMPORTANT NOTe
• Before publishing, authors must check whether this journal is accepted by their employer or any authority they intend to submit their research work. We will not be responsible for this matter.
• The author must check whether the journal is listed in a specific database before submitting the research. In case of the removal of the journal from any database before or after publishing the research work, the journal will not be responsible as we have no control over such databases.
• If, at any time, due to any legal reason, the journal stops accepting manuscripts or cannot publish already accepted manuscripts, we will have the right to cancel all or any one of the manuscripts without any compensation or return any processing cost.
• We try to process manuscripts rapidly, but if, for any reason, online publication of a manuscript is delayed, we will take no responsibility for any consequences of the delayed online publication.
