APPLICABLE REMARKS
  • This study provides new insights into the possible relationship between genetic polymorphisms and “mixed energy system” disciplines, including motorcycling.
  • The most obvious limitations of this study are the sample size and the low number of endurance-associated polymorphisms used for computing TGS. However, we believe that our findings can be considered reliable given the strengths of this study, which include the homogeneity of the sample in terms of athletic status (i.e elite athletes), geographical and ethnical origin (all European Caucasians), and the assumption of Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) for each group.

APPLICABLE REMARKS
  • Since Sleep Deprivation (SD) before learning can negatively affect new task learning, trainers should avoid teaching new skill to learners who have experienced SD the night before training and if they are obliged to teach due to the educational limitations, they can apply mixed practice (combined), so that they can use the advantages of mixed practice, i.e. mixing the benefits of different practices and minimize the negative effects of SD.

APPLICABLE REMARKS
  • Sport lodges in the Ottoman Empire were what sports clubs are today, and therefore, research on sports management history should also look into sport lodges as well.
  • Sport lodges are the most primitive form of today's sport museums. Data show that the first sport museums in the world were established in the Ottoman Empire.

APPLICABLE REMARKS
  • Assessment of motor abilities among even young (elite) athletes provides insight into their strengths and possible areas for improvement.
  • The fact that different sports affect the improvement of various aspects of motor performance should encourage parents, coaches as well as teachers to allow young (gifted) athletes to take part in many different sports, particularly early on during their physical development.
